What is your experience with PET (Positron Emission Tomography)?
I have a long history 20+ years of involvement with PET and was employed with University Hospitals of Cleveland when they implemented their first PET research facility. I have written several articles detailing the benefits of PET, and have served as V.P. of Sales and Marketing for one of the largest National Mobile PET imaging Companies. I have also published a pro forma used by hundreds of facilities to determine if PET will be cost beneficial to their organization, and which identified where the trigger point is for moving from a mobile PET service to an onsite PET system.

Do you also help with American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation?
Much of our work with Cardiology departments is with ICANL, but PET seems to utilize ACR more frequently for accreditation. We are happy to assist with either ICANL or ACR accreditation as required.

How long does the accreditation process take?
Most of the time ICANL accreditation can be completed in 4-6 months on average. Much depends on the total amount of work that needs to be done, and what changes need to be made prior to submission of application.

Do you have malpractice insurance?
Yes, we currently have a multimillion dollar policy in effect, proof of which is available upon request.

Are you licensed & Certified?
Yes, I hold current national registration as a CNMT and a license based in the state of Ohio, and I am a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist in active status.

Do you take on projects outside the scope of Nuclear & PET?
Yes, I have for many years undertaken projects in all imaging modalities, as well as Radiation Oncology. I have only recently decided, due to the increasing demand and popularity of Nuclear Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine to focus the business in that realm. Approximately 85% of the business focus recently has been associated with Nuclear Cardiology ICANL accreditation. We still welcome projects that cross over the boundaries of multiple modalities or that focus on areas outside of Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging. Most recently we have started to become involved in MRI accreditation, as insurance companies begin their concentration in this arena.

Have you worked on large projects over 5 million dollars in scope?
Yes, I have worked on a number of medical imaging projects that have well exceeded the $5 million dollar mark. Some in capital equipment alone, many in combination of capital equipment and construction costs.

What type of businesses does your company usually work with?
We have worked with all types and sizes of facilities, from very large 1000 bed hospitals to small community hospitals, imaging centers. Most frequently we have been focusing the majority of our work with cardiology and PET centers.
